We’re kicking off the new year with a Q&A Wellness Series – starting with IVL Founder, Emily Jackson. See what she’s focusing on in 2024 and how she stays grounded through it all. Spoiler alert – it involves Taylor Swift.

Q: What are 3 things you're focusing on in 2024?

  • Pilates (exercise)  

  • Eating more protein

  • Drink more water (less Diet Coke) 

Q: As a busy mom, how do you prioritize taking care of yourself?

  • Working out everyday to help my sanity. I do it before my kids get home from school. My me time is exercise.

Q: Favorite wellness hack?

  • Hot lemon water first thing when I wake up. 

Q: If you had to only do 1 kind of workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?

  • Hiit workout. Perfect combo of weights and cardio.

Q: What’s your coffee order? 

  • Diet Coke. I’m not a coffee drinker and never have been!

Q: Who was at the top of your 2023 Spotify Wrapped?

  • I’m an Apple Music girl but Taylor Swift all the way!  

Q: What are 2 wellness routines that help you stay grounded when you're in a hurry?

  • When I want to relax or feel more grounded I usually throw on my favorite IVL, go on a run outside or do a quick workout while listening to Taylor Swift or a podcast. 

Q: What is something you've never done before but want to try this year?

  • I started reformer Pilates and I want to continue that into the new year. 

Q: Are you committed to a resolution in 2024?

  • Unpopular opinion, I’m not really into New Year’s resolutions!
